I Need A Job

Since my company announced about relocating our office and staff last Tuesday, everybody in my office seem to be kelam kabut and tak tentu arah. All they talk about since then was about getting a new job. But i guess some of them were talking too much compared to the action they took to overcome whatever they have in mind.

As for me, I've been seeking for a better apportunity months ago. Before the rumours even break. But probably with the current condition, instead of putting 100% of effort, i need to put 120%. The whole admin and accounts department will be based in Sg. Besi and people from Technical, Commercial & Contracts Dept. will be relocated to the project location the person is incharged on or to Bahrain or Abu Dhabi. Me? My Kemaman Project is completed, and i currently assist on overseas projects. But what i heard from my keypochee boss (singa betina @ obachan) the company will send me to JB project, but nothing is final yet.

But I dun think I would be happy to work for that project; firstly, it's a housing project and i dun think it's challenging enuff for me because i've done it before. 2ndly, I just don't wanna stay in JB.. :D. What i need is a fresh new environment and different scope of work so i could have something new to learn.

New Dorama to Watch

Finally Hana Kimi episode 12 is out... (I'm smiling from ear to ear).

I am currently watching another Jdorama Hotaru No Hikari (Glow of Firefly). Another dorama based on manga series by Hiura Satoru. Kinda cute..

Synopsis
Ememiya Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. Despite her glamorous job she is suffering a 'himono onna' syndrome literally means 'dried fish lady' or should be described as a laid back women who enjoys lazing at home, drinking beer, not interested in dating, put on sporty pants and tees @ home .

She stayed alone in a rented house and one day her landlord's son came to stay there after being seperated with his wife not knowing that Amemiya is staying there. The big shock is the landlord's son is her boss. They agreed to stay together secretly and he helps her with her crush over a new co-worker.

Watch Hotaru no Hikari here. There are still a few more episodes to be uploaded. Enjoy

Param = Pasar Ramadhan

Reading Didie's Blog really bring back memories while we were in Uni.. :D. Especially during Ramadhan, the most famous meeting place is Param where thousands of people were browsing from one stall to another searching for the most delicious dish for buka puasa. Well for us, it was not only time to buy food, but also to cuci mata... tengok mangkin ke, nak meet your friends from other courses or nak terjumpa muka2 yg not welcome jugak.. We always give our mangkins names, i.e. iceman la, kerengge, byk la, tak ingat dah.. :D. The Param was located at a parking lot with hundreds of stalls (i think). Now, the area where the Param used to be is where the Administration Building of FAB stands.

During my 1st & 2nd year, i have my own stall, i mean my class's stall, sbb we need to raised class fund for our class trip. Frankly, i really enjoyed jual food during fasting month.. it was soo much fun. There you will see different faces at every blink of your eyes. And when you are in the middle of Param, 360 degrees around you are people. It was tiring but it was fun. Always had our buka puasa belakang gerai and we normally tukar2 food with other hawkers.. ye la dah food tak abes tu drpd berbuang baik sedekah..

I spent my weekend lazing, watching TV and searching for nice food for buka puasa with the gurlz. This year I've set my goal not to go to Param so often. Mmmmm because instead of putting off a few kilos i might end up putting on... I just can't resist to buy murtabak... :D.. no good.. not healthy especially when i want to have it everyday. So the result of not going to Param; I've lost 3 kilos.. But that does not effect my exterior.. heheheh.. But I do feel gud..

Saturday evening we went to Seksyen 13, Shah Alam's Param. Besor.. as big as Param UTM or probably slightly smaller/bigger. The mission was to find The Most Delicious Nasi Dagang(Brown Rice) for Faiez, The Tempting Nasi Tomato Ayam Percik for Rina, Extra Ordinary Nasik Lemak for Irin and Super Yummy Nasik Kerabu for me. Well seeing the size of the Param; Mission accomplished.. :D. With a lot extra plastic bags of mouth-watering kuehs; cara berlauk, popiah basah, cucur badak, murtabak, putu/puteri ayu, yong tau fu and ada lg kot.. smpi tak ingat dah ... Beli mcm nak makan 10 org.. hahahah

Buka puasa @ Irin's place. Since we were having a 'royal feast' we spent hours trying to lessen the amount of food laid infront of us. So the routine was minum, makan, minum, makan, ciggies, minum, menyandar, minum, ciggies, makan... never ending... Tak terhabis pon makan semua.. Tu la tamak sgt.. :D.. Faiez went back around 1 am and a bit later Irin retired for the day, leaving Rina & I chatting 'heart to heart' till sunrise.

On Sunday, Param Kelana Jaya was our choice for food hunting.. Since we have had quite everything we desired the day before, the temptations to buy excessive amount of food was lesser. Selamat aku... sebab pegi Param on weekend tak pasal2 naik 10 kilo.. hahahhaha

Addiction

I am addicted to Japanese and Korean Dramas. No secret about that.. I've finished watching Snow Queen last nite. It's a korean series with Hyun Bin and Sung Yu Ri. A very sad drama, from the very 1st episode towards the end. But still I like it.. :D. 3 years ago, i never thought that i would be interested to watch korean drama because the korean drama that i knew were Winter Sonata and Autumn in My Heart. Both the drama were too sad, too pathetic and too slow. Don't like them. Most of the time i would buy japanese series especially the ones with Kimura Takuya.

The korean series that change my perception was My Lovely Samsoon/My Name is Kim Samsoon. It was hillarious and there were loads of methaphor. Hyun Bin is sooo hot and Kim Sun Ah is chubby and cute. It is now on air on 8TV at 4pm on Sat & Sun. But in Mandarin dubbed version... not that i understand korean, but it is quite irritating seeing the mouth movement did not syncronize with the voice.. :D

I am currently watching Hanazakari no Kimitachi e japanese version. The taiwan version was aired on 8TV early this year. I did watched it once a while, but I think I enjoyed the Japanese version better.. :D.. The story was based on manga by Hisaya Nakajo. The japanese version is more comical than the taiwan version, more fun.. Horikita plays Ashiya Mizuki, a Japanese girl in the U.S. who one day sees the young athlete Sano Izumi (Oguri Shun) compete in the high jump on television. She begins to idolize him, and decides to move to Japan to attend the same school as him. However, Izumi goes to an all-boys school, so Mizuki disguises herself as a boy to achieve her dream of being with her idol. And Nakatsu kun (Ikuta Toma) is sooo cute.. Hihi.... Especially masa he was soo confused whether he is straight or he really likes guy..

There are still two more episodes to be uploaded in veoh... Just watch whatever available first ok.. :D

When an Insomniac Dreams...

Me having problem to sleep is not a new thing. Yes I think I am an insomniac. Before I go to work today, I only had less than 2 hrs sleep. I don't feel sleepy nor tired. Being awake for more than 36 hours is not a problem. I've tried to see a doctor before, she gave me anti anxiety but that didn't work. When you go to doctor saying that you are having sleeping disorder do expect these questions
- Do you smoke?
- Do you have any problems at work bothering you?
- Do you have family problems?
- Do you see things? (Imaginary stuff)
- And all sorts of questions that makes you think 'Are you trying to say that I am insane?' and I almost say this to the Dr:'You wanna know what's bothering me? Your questions'... hahahahha

But i do have my 'shut down' days; normally twice or three times in a fortnight. It's when i fall asleep around 10pm and wake up at 8am the next morning or sleep late and wake up late. I only need 8 full hours of sleep for the shut down.. My normal sleeping time is 3.5-5 hours; quality sleep. I am a deep sleeper even the hour might be a little shorter than normal people.

According to science, sleep is catagorize in 4 diff stages.
1- Between wakefulness and sleeping (last between 1-7min), mind and body active and busy, short term memory being used
2- Light sleep, mind and bosy calm and relax, long term memory activated, learning is easy and rapid.
3- Sleep (About 20 min after 1st falling asleep), a state of deep relaxation, high creativity and insight, su-conscious mind accessible.
4- Deep Sleep, Sleeping, minimum brain activity.

People normally dreams approximately 3-4 times a nite and we will remember a dream that occurs during REM (Rapid Eye Movement;60-90min interval). Well that explained why I always say I don't normally dream during my sleep, maybe i just didn't remember. And not being able to have enuff sleep must has given me less REM; which is not good. Because lack of REM can cause illness and premature ageing - that's why people have a term 'beauty sleep'. Harvard medical school also conduct a study that says we are not only capable to be an actor in our dreams, we can also be the director. Which I do agree, because sometimes i did decide how i want my dream to be.

For me dreams are like a reminder or a warning, minus all the merepek mimpi such as kereta terbang or being in the wonderland where everything around you can talk.. I normally realize the message of my dream after the 'thing' has happen. Not that i could avoid it from happening but at least i could prepare myself, because most of the time it was a sad thing.

Well.. well.. well... However, when you dreamt of something, related, 2 nites in a row (macam tengok citer series kat TV, boley sambung2).. It's kinda freaky.. hmmm.. I had those kind of dreams last week.. Frankly, i dun feel good about it. Let's just wait and see.. Whatever it is, things happen for reason and it's from God.

Special Menu

I am really in gud mood this morning tho i don't hv enuff sleep. Been humming all morning.. I was actually late for work.. :D, but i still make a stop at the mini mart to get the fags and breakie.. and my breakie for today is putu mayam... It's not easy to find putu mayam these days, i was just lucky to bum into the indian putu mayam guy.

When i was little, we always had putu mayam at least once a week. Normally during weekend where i have to wait for the putu mayam uncle by the roadside. Uncle putu mayam always put on white cloths riding his bicycle with a big round 'tong' at the back of his bike. And now i'm starting to remember all sorts of food i used to have when i was little, the places i used to buy them.. natsukashi...

When i was 4, my family moved to a government house in Segamat town. It was a half batu and half kayu house with big compound. 5 minutes walk to the town. I remember there was one karipap stall selling variety kind of karipap with shapes to differentiate the fillings. The round shape = daging, restangular = sayur, triangle = ayam, and normal shape is kentang and sometimes keledek.. Whenever we have guests in the evening, my mom will give some money to buy the puff for tea, for the guests and for us to eat. During that time with RM1 you can get 5 pieces of puff (if i'm not mistaken). Normally mama will give me RM2 to buy them. If she forgot to tell what type of fillings to buy, i will end up buying all flavours that they have with the RM2.. And mama will start babbling when i got back because the shapes were all mixed up and not soo nice to be served. ye la kan, mcm2 shape ada... :D, My answer was "tapi nak rasa semua, lagi pon kan cute ada macam2 shape?"

People now days sells karipap with same shape but different fillings.. The karipap you can alway buy at the makcik nasik lemak tu la... And we always ended up paying for the flavour that we dun want... Sebab dia salah tunjuk.. hmmm instead of inti kentang dapat inti sardin.. :)

Blind Spot

X: Tell me something that you know, you know
Me: What's this? Are you trying to trick me or something?
X: Just answer it
Me: What's the answer suppossed to be? Tak paham
X: Apa2 je la yg ko tau ko memang tau..
Me: Ok.. Driving? Is that a gud answer?

X: Okay, now tell me something that you know, you don't know
Me: Hmmm.... Swim... hehehe.. i can only float

X: okay, now tell me something that you don't know, you don't know
Me: How am i supposed to tell you something that i don't know
X: Hahaha.. that's our blind spot

It was a conversation of me and a gud fren of mine sometime long ago.. Well sometimes in life we just dunno what to expect on certain things... because it is called unexpected things.. something which is not us to decide... things that we never plan...

But when the unexpected things happen, we still have a choice to make... And what we choose will lead to different situations.

Our Merdeka Trip Making a Headline

After 10++ years not doing any hiking activities, a few frenz and i decided to go hiking during the merdeka day. The last hiking trip i went to was Gunung Ledang and i was dozens of pounds lighter than i am now.. Frankly, i was not really keen of going, knowing that i didn't get enuff sleep since early of the week and not fit.. i will definitely pancit in no time.. :D

Anyhow, i still woke up that morning around quarter past 6 after my handphone rang more than 5 times. I think Alice was so annoyed that i didn't pick her 'wake-up' call.. Sorry mate, u know i have problem waking up.. Especially when i can only shuts my nervous system at 3am.. :D

Ina and her frens already waited for us @ hentian kinrara before 6. We arrived at kaki gunung nuang around 8am.. Need to wait for another car on our way... There were 9 of us, 3 of them are my colleague/x-colleagues and their frens. Alice being a great organizer had prepared a name & contacts list that we passed to nearby police station and the ranger.

The weather was great and there were quite a number of people heading their way up. Walking up to the 1st check point -Lolo (not really up to Lolo, but almost there) it was a track can be accessed by 4WD. i didn't even make it there.. :D.. kaakakakka... on our way to Lolo, after probably less than an hour, my legs were really in pain, and my left knee is killing me.. thanx to the 'stupid accident' that happened last year... my knee is really in bad shape now.. can't even stand cold wheather and also 'not so high' heels...

I decided to call it a quit and asked the others to proceed. If i carried on, i was afraid i will slow them down and probably injured myself and menyusahkan org later on.. Seriously i was pancit. If u plan to go hiking please get enuff sleep especially if u r not young anymore.. kakakaka terasa tua sgt plak.. :D...The 3 guys that joined us were fit since this is just a training for them before going to kinabalu in January. Alice followed me down, she said that she can't take it.. well frankly i guess dia tak sampai hati letting me wait for her sampai ptg (since i came with her car).

We headed home and i was really looking forward to doze off in front of the TV. I planned to go to Iman's b'day party in the evening since i was home early, but had a terrible headache (sbb dah 3-4 hari tido 2-3 jam). Slept until 6 and instead of waking up fresh, i had gastric and my headache was getting worst.. took medicine and cook some simple dishes to go with the rice..

Slept early last nite around 11.30.. that is early ok... And this morning i received a call from Bt. 18 police station.. 5 of my frens were stranded on nuang.. the police was asking all sort of questions. Alice was worst, the police called her at 5.30 am, and not only one police station, kajang, bt. 18 and also bukit aman.. she was worried and ask me if i would accompany her to go nuang. i don't really have anything planned for today except for meeting GG in the afternoon. But i told her, i believe they are doing ok, i believe they were not lost, but something must have made them decide to wait for the next day.

The only thing that worries me was their shelter and food. If there is still no news by 12pm then only we will go. Because if they overnite on Nuang, it will still take sometime to get down. But after calling Zie (who went down by 1.30pm yesterday and decided not to make it to the top because she doesn't want to be back too late or else it will be dark) i felt a bit relieved. Zie told us there were a few big groups went up yesterday and most of them plan to camp. So at least i know that they have a shelter and food.

After Alice & I had our breakfast, we headed back to my place and just wait for calls. At 11.30 we called the police station just know the latest update. They were brought down safe and sound by a 4WD from Lolo. It happen to be that one of the girls was injured and it was too late for them to make it before dark.

They were in 1.30 news and niteline .. Tak pasal2 glamer.. hahahhahaa..
